About This Project

Fawnya Frolic in her Chinese dress. Framed in a dark wood frame.

This was from a photoshoot we did in 2012 using a variety of outfits, including her vintage lace body. We didn’t think this Chinese dress worked well and so I was surprised to see it was the strongest image from the shoot. Had some fun playing with warm / cool colour combinations and getting the intensity of the red silk with glazes.

Frame: reddish wood, 3cm wide, 7cm deep – framed size 96 x 66 x 7cm
